David Etue is CEO of RangeForce, a leading cybersecurity training and skills assessment platform ensuring defensive cybersecurity team readiness. He is an experienced CEO and business leader, with expertise in cybersecurity, intelligence and managed services. He brings market and technical understanding in cybersecurity and intelligence spanning technology, go-to-market and strategy.
David brings over 20 years of experience including at both early-stage and mature companies. As CEO of Nisos, they defined and became the leader of the Managed Intelligence market, creating an award-winning company and offerings underpinned by one of the top intelligence analysis capabilities in the private sector anchored with deep expertise in open-source (OSINT) and cyber intelligence. Prior to Nisos, he was Global Head of Managed Security Services at BlueVoyant and previously VP of Managed Services at Rapid7 where he drove the creation, execution and strategic vision of the managed services offerings globally. Previously, he was the VP of Business Development for Gemalto’s identity and data protection business leading global partnerships and OEM sales, which he joined via the SafeNet acquisition. He led the cyber security practice lead at PRTM (acquired by PwC) where he consulted on cyber security and information assurance including go-to-market strategy for cyber offerings; cyber supply chain integrity; and secure cloud strategies. David was Vice President of Products and Markets at Fidelis Security Systems (acquired by General Dynamics.) Earlier in his career, Mr. Etue led General Electric’s global computer security program where he was a member of the GE Information Management Council and was an original member of GE’s Global E-Commerce team. Mr. Etue originally joined GE on the Information Management Leadership Program, and held various positions in technology strategy and operations.
He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, and a Certified CISO. He is a Senior Fellow at the National Security Institute’s Cyber and Technology Center, and a top-rated public speaker.
Mr. Etue received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Delaware, where he is a member of the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics Alumni Board. He has executive education from GE’s John F. Welch Leadership Development Center at Crotonville. Additionally, he completed GE’s Six Sigma Black Belt Training, and is trained in the Pragmatic Marketing Framework.
